Saturday was a second test of my all-out 1 minute and 5 minute power with some sprints thrown in. Across the board, I had gains in power. I know it was the intervals on the trainer! I was excited to hit my all-time top-end watts in sprint! My body feels so solid and my legs felt awesome.
It's not that big of a surprise after doubling my dismal amount of training over last year, improving my diet, just generally taking care of myself and having a genius coach training me. I have to tell you though-- each gain was hard work (blood, sweat and tears). Bike racing ain't for pansies. Nope.
